Raphael Nabet:  [TI990 Harddrive] Changed image format, so that we can select other geometries.

Nathan Woods:  [Imgtool/TI99] Fixed a compilation error on the TI99 imgtool driver.  [Atari 800] Ported a800 family of drivers to new MAME core.  [MESS Core] Added palette_set_colors() function to make it easy to initialize a palette with a predefined list of colors.

Nathan Woods:  [VTech1] Ported vtech1 drivers to new MAME core.

Lawrence Gold:  [i8085 CPU] Fixed some register constraints that caused errors when building with gcc-3.1.  [xmess] Updated with the latest 0.60 changes.  Started making changes to support new artwork functions.

Lawrence Gold:  [xmess] Updated for the latest core changes from Aaron Giles.

Stefano Priore:  [Atari 2600/C16/Kaypro/PocketPC] Updated release date information.  [Spectrum +3e] Updated driver with BIOS version 1.11.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Reenabled many drivers to work with latest core changes, and some code cleanups.

Nathan Woods:  [M6847] Made the initializers for the M6847 video code distinguish between PAL and NTSC.  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core.

Stefano Priore:  [MESS] Updated more release date information for several drivers.

Nathan Woods:  [Commodore] Ported the Commodore family of drivers to the new MAME core.

Anthony Kruize:  [Genesis] Ported the Genesis driver to the new MAME core.

Nathan Woods:  [Core] Added latest patches from MAMEDEV.

Anthony Kruize:  [GameBoy] Removed magic numbers in fixed-point math.  Merged SOUNDx structs into one.  Can now load ROMs larger than 2MB.  Fixed RAM bank switching on MBC3 ROMs.  Source code cleanups.

Lawrence Gold:  [xmess]Set use_dirty() to always be false, which allows the coco3 and mbee drivers to function.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported more drivers to the new core.  Replaced some malloc() and bitmap_alloc() calls with auto_* calls, and removed some now unecessary cleanup routines.  [PC88] Ported PC88 family of drivers to new MAME core.

Stefano Priore:  [MESS] Updated more release date information for several drivers.

Anthony Kruize:  [GameBoy] Updated get_reg() and set_reg() functions so you can now specify a default value for the AF register on Reset.

Anthony Kruize:  [GameBoy] Added drivers for the Super GameBoy and GameBoy Color.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core, and fixed some GCC compilation warnings.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported more drivers to the new core and minor code cleanups.  [Coupe] Combined coupe and coupe512 drivers into one driver that uses configurable RAM sizes.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS32] Fixed some bugs in the Windows user interface.  [TMS9928A] Created macros for the MachineDriver specification for the TMS9928A video chip.  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core.

Anthony Kruize:  [GameBoy] Added vertical tile flipping and fixed the colors in the GBC code.  Changed GBC status from not working to imperfect sound.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core.  [MESS32] Reorganized some of the Properties code in the Windows GUI.  Fixed a bug in Windows NVRAM handling.  [MK1] Ported mk1 driver to new core.  [TI85/MK2] Commited TI85 and MK2 driver families to the new core.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported some more drivers to the MAME 0.60 core.  Added artwork files to CVS.

Dan Boris:  [Atari 7800] Checked in new Atari 7800 improvements.

Nathan Woods:  [CoCo3] Fixed a bug in the GIME video emulation that caused all parts of the $FF9B/D/E video registers to be used in lo-res mode; where in reality the low 16 bits are dropped.  This caused a bug in CoCoTracker that caused the screen to be garbled after the MOD files are played.

Nathan Woods:  [Intellivision] Ported intv driver to new core.  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core.

Lawrence Gold:  [xmess] Checked in latest romulan from Nathan Hand.  Removed the now-obsolete dirty handling and simplified the use of palettes, since the core now keeps better track of them.  Removed a lot of code that's unnecessary because of the core changes.  Fixed some crashes that were occurring when building xmame and running xexex.

Nathan Woods:  [MESS] Ported more drivers over to the new core.   Introduced a LCD_FRAMES_PER_SECOND constant.

Raphael Nabet:  [LVIV] Fixed memory map (implemented mirrors and special start-up map), and added comments on timings.
